Daniel Hendrickson grew up in the Farmland, Indiana, area, immersed in the commercial- and show-hog industries. These experiences helped him decide to pursue veterinary medicine for his career. He attended Purdue University and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. Dr. Hendrickson grew up in Randolph county and is very passionate about the community and providing quality veterinary care. In 2016, Daniel and his wife Telynda purchased Stoney Creek Veterinary Service and Consultation, P.C., from his uncle Dale Hendrickson, a well-known swine veterinarian who started practicing 45 years earlier. Stoney Creek is located in Randolph county and focuses specifically on swine and ruminant animals. In 2019, Dr. Ken Stites became ill and need help at Parker Veterinary Clinic during his recovery. Dr. Hendrickson helped during that time. When Dr. Stites decided that he was unable to return to the practice. Dr. Hendrickson and Telynda knew that they had to keep Parker Veterinary Clinic as a locally owned practice. Since then they have invested in the practice by updating the facility, equipment and portfolio of services so that our clients and patients would have the best care possible. He has also add two exceptional associate veterinarians, Dr. Thornburg and Dr. Pritchard, so our patients could have the support of the industry’s best professional veterinary care.
“Being a veterinarian allows me to make an impact in a community that I care so much about both professionally and personally,” he said.
It is very important to The Hendrickson’s that Parker Veterinary Service carries on the family feel that Dr. Ken and Ruth Ann Stites worked so hard to build. We will be forever grateful for their love, passion and care for the clients and patients that are part of the PVS family.
